In March 2019, Beijing Normal University decided to establish the Educational Robot Industry Research Center of Beijing Normal University. Relying on the advantages of teacher education, education science and basic disciplines of liberal arts and sciences, the Research Center conducts theoretical research and practice on industrial development, education system, product standards and business models. By jointly exploring how educational robots can play a role in the learning and growth of children, optimizing the allocation of educational resources, and serving youth employment and entrepreneurship, it aims to build a first-class domestic industry-university-research-use comprehensive platform with international influence by integrating resources from scientific research, teaching and industry.

On May 28, 2019, the founding Conference of Education Robot Industry Research Center of Beijing Normal University and the Donation ceremony of KEEKO Robot will be held in Beijing.
