Introduction

The opening ceremony of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, in October 2018. Spanning the Lingdingyang River, the bridge connects Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in the east, Zhuhai City in Guangdong Province and Macao Special Administrative Region in the west, with a total length of about 55 kilometers. It is the first large-scale cross-sea traffic project jointly built by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao under the "one country, Two systems" principle. The opening of the bridge is of great significance to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Mr. Gong Yongde, Managing Partner of KPMG China, Senior Advisor and member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), will deliver a lecture on "Economic Opportunities and Ideological Impact Brought by the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge".
