Call For Papers: The 13th Annual Conference of Chinese Political Economy

In order to promote the development of domestic political economy research and strengthen academic exchanges in the field of political economy, the 13th Annual Chinese Political Economy Conference will be held in the fall of 2019 in Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (Kunming). The announcement is as follows:

 

1. The 13th Annual Conference of Chinese Political Economy (hereinafter referred to as the Annual Conference) is planned to be held in Kunming in the fall of 2019, organized by the School of Economics, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.

 

2. The Annual meeting will be co-sponsored by the governing units. The governing units of the Annual meeting are as follows (in no particular order) : School of Economics, Renmin University of China; School of Economics and Management, Northwest University; School of Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics; School of Economics, Nankai University; School of Economics of Sichuan University, School of Economics of Fudan University, School of Economics of Xiamen University, School of Economics of Henan University, School of Economics of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, School of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University, School of Economics of Anhui University, School of Economics, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, School of Economics, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.

 

3. The annual meeting shall have a rotating chairman system. The rotating chairman shall be elected by the governing units of the annual meeting and shall be responsible for guiding the relevant organizational work of the annual meeting. The chairman of the 13th Annual Meeting of Chinese Political Economy is Professor Gong Gang of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.

 

4. Prof. Meng Jie (Fudan University), Prof. Jiang Yongmu (Sichuan University) and Prof. Ren Baoping (Northwest University) are the directors of the Secretariat of the 13th Annual Conference on Chinese Political Economy.

 

5. China Political Economy Education and Research Network (www.cpeer.org) and wechat subscription account CPEER will be the official information release platform of the annual conference, and the follow-up information of the annual conference will be released by the two platforms. Aichi scholars will continue to pay attention.

 

6. The annual conference is called the Chinese Association for Political Economy, or CAPE.

 

7. The Annual Conference adopts the system of paper participation. Participants and speakers must submit their papers in advance, and the papers will be uniformly reviewed by the annual review meeting organized by the Annual Conference secretariat. The selected papers will also be published on the official information platform of the Annual meeting.

 

8. Young political economy researchers, especially graduate students, are encouraged to attend. The conference will be responsible for the participation fees (including hard sleeper train tickets, hard seat tickets or second class high-speed train tickets, and room and board expenses during the conference) of the selected graduate students. Graduate students applying for the thesis must be students who are still studying in the second half of 2019 and have not graduated.

 

9. The call for papers for this annual meeting begins on the day of this announcement. The conference encourages theoretical, historical and empirical research from Marxism, Post-KeyneSianism, evolutionary economics, institutional economics, disequilibrium Economics, New Political Economy, Women's Economics. The deadline for submissions is July 20, 2019. For submissions, please email a Word document to cape@ruc.edu.cn.

 

10. After the call for papers is completed, the secretariat of the Chinese Political Economy Annual Conference is responsible for organizing a review meeting composed of experts from each governing unit of the Annual Conference to evaluate the papers. Selected authors will receive a formal invitation to the annual conference upon completion of review.
