General Secretary Xi Jinping points out in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Plenary Session that "Sustainable development is the 'golden key' to solving current global issues. It shares the same goal and vision as building a community with a shared future for mankind, and will benefit all mankind and the whole world." Adhering to the road of sustainable development and contributing to sustainable development are the fundamental and core requirements for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities and realize symbiosis with society. Both sustainable development and corporate social responsibility cannot be promoted without the joint efforts of the business community and academia. In particular, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility as an ever-changing field, it is extremely important for the academic community to carry out forward-looking, exploratory and academic continuous research, which plays a guiding and fundamental role in promoting sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. In order to better promote academic exchanges and mutual learning on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, The Seminar on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility was co-sponsored by The Chinese Society of Enterprise Management, Peking University Guanghua School of Management, BNUBS, Xiamen University Research Center for Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Culture, and Beijing Rongzhi Research Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility. To build an academic discussion and cross-boundary interactive platform for experts and scholars in the field of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

The Symposium on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (2019) will be held in Beijing Normal University on September 7, 2019. The theme of the symposium is "Past, Present and Future of corporate Social Responsibility Research".会The conference will focus on the research process, progress, reflection and outlook of corporate social responsibility over the past 100 years, and will conduct in-depth discussion on fundamental, key and forward-looking issues in corporate social responsibility research.
