About the Speaker

 

Dr. Yuan xianzhi is a scholar of Financial Engineering and fintech, editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Financial Engineering, and a member of the editorial board of several academic journals. He is currently focusing on fintech companies' solutions to support the financial industry under the framework of big data, especially the establishment of bond pricing systems in the capital markets and solutions to support small, medium and large loan financing.

 

Dr. Yuan received his Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Master's degree in mathematics, Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Master's degree in statistics and Doctor's degree in mathematics from Sichuan University, University of Toronto and Dalhousie University. He has worked and studied in the United States, Canada and Australia for more than 25 years. In terms of academic research, he has published more than 140 professional papers and 2 monographs in SCI and SSCI journals at home and abroad, and his research work has been cited by more than 360 experts around the world for more than 730 times.

 

In terms of financial industry practice, since 1999, he has worked in global leading financial and consulting firms KPMG and Deloitte, TXU energy Trading Company of the United States, Montreal Bank of Canada and other international companies. He has also provided risk measurement and management services for Deloitte China, Bank of China, INDUSTRIAL and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, Pudong Development Bank and other large domestic financial institutions.
