Ⅰ. School Introduction

Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), founded in 1890, is a comprehensive research university with strong strength. It has produced 5 Nobel Prize winners and is one of the first foreign well-known universities recognized by the Ministry of Education of China.  IIT is located in Chicago, the third largest city in the United States, and is one of the "three giants of Higher education in Chicago", along with the University of Chicago and Northwestern University.

The Stewart School of Business, founded in 1969, is one of the founding schools of Futures Trading Theory in the world and enjoys a high reputation in the field of Finance and Management in the United States. The School has a high status in the field of Finance, and ranks among the top 10 in financial market and mathematical finance in the United States.

The school is located in Chicago, the world financial center, where 35 global top 500 companies have their headquarters, such as Abbott Laboratories, MOTOROLA, McDonald's and so on. The unique geographical location makes it more convenient for students of Stewart Business School to obtain internship and employment opportunities in well-known Chicago enterprises.  Every year, a large number of outstanding graduates work for fortune 500 companies.

Ⅱ. Overall Description

 

1. Enrollment Target

Junior undergraduate students of BNUBS

2. Application Requirements

1)    The average score of professional courses in BNU reaches GAP 3.0 (full mark 4.0), equivalent to 75 points in our school's 100-point system.

2)    GRE/GMAT isn’t necessary

3)    English Level: IELTS 7.0/TOEFL100/ Qualified CET4 (Foreign parties will organize English proficiency tests as necessary

3. Program Introduction

BNUBS will send eligible undergraduates (required to complete three years of study at Beijing Normal University) to study at the Stewart School of Business for two (or more) years in their senior year, and they will receive a bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University and a Master's degree in finance from IIT. This program is a full-time study with a basic period of 5 years.  Students are required to continue their bachelor's degree at Beijing Normal University during their fourth year of study at IIT.

4. Fees

Tuition: Approximately $48,420 for two years, with a 19% fee reduction for students of BNUBS, which amounts to $39,220. Details can be found on the university's official website.

Cost of living: about $13,800 / year

  3. Language score -- IELTS/TOEFL paper score. If you have not received the paper score, you can take a screenshot of the website first.   

4. School Transcript -- The first year's transcript in Both Chinese and English with the seal of the Academic Affairs Office of the University;
