The year 2021 marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It is the first year of the 14th Five-year Plan, and a year when China, after completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and realizing the first centenary goal, will embark on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country and march toward the second centenary goal.In order to get off to a good start in building a modern socialist country in an all-round way, we must accurately understand the new requirements for the labor market and employment in the new stage of development.

 

Therefore, Labor Economics Society will hold the sixth annual academic conference with the theme of "Modernization of China's Labor Market and Employment" in University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on October 30-31, 2021. In this meeting, we intend to discuss China's employment achievements and experience, analyze new requirements put forward by the basic realization of socialist modernization of the labor market and employment, discuss challenges faced by the modernization of China's labor market and employment and, put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions. We sincerely invite domestic and foreign researchers in the field of Labor Economics to attend this annual conference.The relevant information is as follows:

Ⅳ. Call For Papers:

Requirements

Papers can be written around the theme of the conference and related research areas of labor economy, and meet the following requirements:

(1)It should be a paper that has not been published publicly, or a research report or practical innovation case of a scientific research subject that has achieved phased results.

(2)It should conform to academic norms.

(3)It can be written in both Chinese or English, but necessary information should be noted, including title, author information, abstract, key words, text and references. Author information should include employer and contact information (phone and email).

 

Paper Submission

Papers can be submitted independently by individuals or by branch organizations.

Individual paper submission: Individual contributors who intend to submit a paper to the conference should send an electronic version of their paper to jjxy@ucass.edu.cn by October 10, 2021 with the subject line "Author" + CALe2021.(Submissions submitted to this email address before August 1, 2021 do not need to be submitted again).

Organizational Paper Submission: Each branch of the Labor Economics Society can act as the project organizer to determine the title of the project and organize the project paper by itself, and send the title of the project, the moderator and his/her contact information, and all the project papers to jjxy@ucass.edu.cn by October 10, 2021 with the subject line marked:"*** branch" organization symposium collection. The branch organizer is responsible for the quality of the paper. Papers submitted in this way don’t need to be submitted independently.  (Submissions submitted to this email address before August 1, 2021 do not need to be submitted again)

Speeches

The organizing committee will organize experts to evaluate independently submitted papers and confirm papers that would be read in the conference.

Branches can organize their own forum (no more than half a day). They need to submit the forum request to the organizing committee by email (jjxy@ucass.edu.cn, subject: "*** Branch") before October 10, 2021, and send the forum agenda (including the name of the host and speaker, company and telephone number, and speech title).The organizing committee reserves the right to make appropriate adjustments according to the situation of the paper.

4. No fees will be charged for collection and evaluation of conference papers.

Ⅴ. Conference Fees and Accommodation Arrangements

 

We will charge 300 yuan of each member of the association while 600 yuan for each non-member. Students will be exempted from the fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses are at your own expense.

The conference committee will arrange accommodation near the conference hall for the delegates who have received the formal invitation letter (at your own expense).

2. According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the number of participants of this conference needs to be limited. The organizing Committee will send an official invitation letter to the conference during October 11-15, 2021 in the order of speakers, directors, members and registration time.

3. The organizing Committee will adjust the arrangements of the meeting in a timely manner according to the situation of the epidemic and inform the changes through the website of the University.
