In recent years, the School has attached great importance to the application work for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Particularly aiming at addressing the pain points, difficulties, and blockages faced by young faculty in their scientific research development, the School has provided high-quality support to help young researchers grow better and faster by building exchange platforms and other means. With the support of the School's Young Top Talent Program, Professor Shiyang Gong has achieved rich scientific research results. On the basis of securing a General Program Project in 2024, he has obtained approval for the Young Scientists Fund Project (Category B) [formerly Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project] this year. The School will further explore effective paths for the development of disciplinary scientific research, strive to create better scientific research conditions and an atmosphere for the faculty, and promote the School's scientific research level to a higher stage.
