The forum was divided into four major sections: The keynote speeches focused on "The Necessity and Paths for International Students to Study Chinese Economic Issues" and "The Digital Economy Driving China's Economic Development"; the International Trade Sub - forum focused on the new trade order and value chain reconstruction; the Economic and Social Sub - forum covered multiple topics such as educational economics and local economic development; and the Enterprise Management Sub - forum explored the impact of the green transformation of the manufacturing industry on corporate financial performance.

The keynote speeches were hosted by Associate Dean Hu Conghui. Professor Liu Ruiming shared his insights under the title of "Coming with Questions, Leaving with Solutions: How Should International Students Study Chinese Economic Issues". Professor Liu systematically reviewed the practices of China's economic reform in aspects such as rural reform, state - owned enterprise reform, the fiscal and financial system, opening - up, factor marketization, the scientific and technological innovation system, social security and people's livelihood, the transformation of government functions, green transformation, and regional coordinated development. For the international student community, he pointed out that whether international student friends will become politicians, researchers, or entrepreneurs in the future, they can all benefit from studying Chinese economic issues. By studying Chinese issues, they can translate this into practical impetus for promoting policy optimization, industrial upgrading, and business innovation in their home countries. He particularly emphasized that studying Chinese economics requires a problem - awareness. Through the process of "Problem - Theory - Solution", combined with policy text analysis and micro - data modeling, and incorporating a cross - cultural perspective, a bridge can be built between academia and practice for China and global development.

Professor Zhang Xun shared his thoughts under the title of "The Digital Economy: A New Engine for China's Economic Development". Professor Zhang presented an overview of the development of the digital economy in China from the perspectives of consumer internet and industrial internet. In his speech, Professor Zhang pointed out that the digital economy has become the core engine for the high - quality development of China's economy, and its development benefits from the dual drive of policy support and technological innovation. The consumer internet has built a globally leading digital ecosystem through its huge user base and scenario innovation, and digital finance has significantly enhanced financial inclusiveness, especially benefiting rural areas and small and micro - enterprises. As a key area in the "second half" of development, the industrial internet faces challenges such as a low penetration rate in the manufacturing industry and unbalanced regional development. However, through benefit - sharing mechanisms and data circulation technologies, it is expected to reduce the costs of digital transformation.
