Our School Held a Symposium for Representatives of the 2025 Graduating Class

On the morning of June 17, 2025, BNUBS held a symposium for representatives of the 2025 graduating class in Conference Room 1610 of the Houzhu Building. Qi Yudong, Dean of the School; Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee; Jiang Jie, Associate Secretary and Associate Dean; representatives of graduating class head teachers; and counselors attended the meeting.

At the symposium, Dean Qi Yudong first extended sincere congratulations on behalf of the School to the graduates who have successfully completed their studies and are about to start a new chapter in their lives. He reviewed the journey of growth shared by the School and the graduates, pointing out that graduation is not the end of academic studies but the prelude to a new chapter in life. Dean Qi expressed high hopes for the graduates, hoping that they would adhere to the qualities of being down-to-earth and diligent in their future scientific research and career, and strive to reach new heights in their careers. He also warmly invited the graduates to continue paying attention to the development of the School while pursuing their personal dreams and to offer suggestions for the progress of the School.

Subsequently, representatives of undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctoral graduates spoke in turn, sharing their job-hunting experiences and graduation destinations. Many students reflected on the difficulties and challenges encountered in determining their employment intentions and searching for job information, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on the School's work in talent training, discipline construction, career development, transfer of organizational relations, household registration and file management, etc. In response, the teachers present gave patient and detailed responses, answered the students' questions, and stated that they would continuously optimize various work of the School based on the opinions and suggestions put forward by the students.

Finally, Secretary Sun Zhijun delivered a concluding speech. He highly praised the efforts made by the students in the job-hunting process, expressed congratulations, instructions, and expectations to all the students who are about to take up their jobs, encouraging them to uphold and temper the character of BNUers, pursue innovation and excellence; set clear goals, make unremitting efforts, and strive to realize their lofty ideals.

This symposium not only cares about the growth of alumni who are starting their journey, actively implementing the work concept of "helping them get on the horse, seeing them off for a distance, and serving them for life", but also provides useful references and opinions for the School's future talent training and discipline construction. With the joint efforts of all teachers and students of the School, the graduates of BNUBS will surely achieve more brilliant achievements in their future career paths.
