The admission education activity is divided into five modules: Admission Adaptation Education, Professional Education, Teaching Training Education, Party and League Education and Daily Management Education.

Admission Adaptation Education

In order to help freshmen adapt to study and life as soon as possible, we help freshmen to understand the new life, integrate into the new environment and adapt to the new role through multiple channels. Han Lili, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, made a speech entitled "How to spend my School life" and shared four experiences and suggestions with the students. First, we should seize the opportunity to carry out full self-exploration, positive self-development, and early planning. Second, we should respect facts, abide by rules, solve social problems, deal with interpersonal relations objectively, and share life pursuit and development ideas from a positive perspective. Third, we should arrange time reasonably, manage School life scientifically, cultivate individual talents, and strive for all-round development. Professional Education

In order to provide freshmen with the opportunity to deeply understand each major, help freshmen set their learning goals, help freshmen set their learning goals as soon as possible, and enhance their learning motivation, each class held a series of professional education lectures with characteristics and effectiveness.

On the morning of September 4th, the 2023 doctoral class held a professional education activity for new students in Room 312, Teaching II, Changping Campus. Professor Zhang Pingan, Associate Dean of the School, introduced the basic situation of doctoral training in the BNUBS, and then analyzed the key issues in the doctoral training plan one by one, and finally put forward ardent expectations for everyone, encouraging everyone to adapt to the new stage of study and life faster and better, and timely reflect the difficulties in life and study. From the perspective of domain knowledge accumulation, use of scientific research database, and learning of research tools, Yang Jifeng, a PhD student of business administration in 2020, combined with his own scientific research experience, shared his experience on how to improve the happiness of scientific research. Finally, the head teacher Zhang Huili pointed out that the doctoral stage is the golden period of academic efficiency and scientific research output, and encouraged everyone to make full use of time, carry out scientific research practice as soon as possible, and learn from the work. In order to help students understand the School's daily management policies and systems, on the afternoon of August 30, the Student Work Office of BNUBS launched a student daily management education activity for the class of 2023 freshmen.

First of all, Ms. Lan Rujia introduced the importance of class construction, relevant policies and the psychological counseling service system of the school and college, encouraged all classes to actively carry out class construction activities to build a harmonious class collective, and reminded students to care for mental health, and remember to ask for help if they encounter difficulties. On the evening of August 31, BNUBS held a lecture on Party membership education in the first lecture hall of the Chemistry Building. Wang Jun, an organization member of the Party Committee of the School and a full-time counselor, brought a theme lecture entitled "Adhere to the Original Heart of Joining the Party and Embrace the Mission of The Times". He explained the nature of the Communist Party of China by combining the advanced deeds of a group of representative outstanding Party members, so that the students had a deeper understanding of the spiritual pedigree of Chinese Communists and the motivation for joining the Party.
