The Second Zhu Yujing Scholarship Review Meeting of BNUBS was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of May 28, 2025, the second Zhu Yujing Scholarship Review Meeting of BNUBS, was successfully held in Room 1621 of Houzhu Building. Zhang Huili, Director of the Department of Accounting; Li Yuxiao from the Department of Accounting; full-time counselor Wang Jun; dual-responsibility counselor Li Lun; and student affairs assistant Fan Ruicong participated in the review meeting.

The Zhu Yujing Scholarship of BNUBS was established with funding from Ms. Li Na and Mr. Zhu Song, aiming to reward outstanding accounting undergraduates with comprehensive development and assist in cultivating top innovative accounting talents with "four haves" literacy, good humanistic and scientific qualities, a broad foundation in economics and management, solid accounting professional knowledge and skills, a broad international vision, and a strong sense of social responsibility. After personal application, material review, and public announcement, 10 students were shortlisted for the defense review of this year's Zhu Yujing Scholarship.

At the beginning of the review meeting, Ms. Zhang Huili, Director of the Department of Accounting, introduced the origin and purpose of the scholarship. On behalf of the faculty and students of the Department of Accounting, she expressed sincere gratitude to Ms. Li Na and Mr. Zhu Song for their care, support, and enthusiastic encouragement to the students, as well as thanks to the School for its continuous support for the talent cultivation work of the Department of Accounting.

During the defense review stage, the participating students comprehensively displayed their ideological and moral cultivation, academic research experience, social practice services, etc., and systematically expounded their growth insights and professional cognition during their studies in accounting. The review panel then raised questions regarding the students' comprehensive qualities, professional capabilities, and career planning, to which the participating students responded.

At the end of the review meeting, Mr. Wang Jun, Organizational Member of the Party Committee, delivered a concluding speech. He first expressed heartfelt thanks to Ms. Li Na and Mr. Zhu Song for always paying attention to the growth and development of accounting students, and encouraged all students to deeply understand the ardent expectations of outstanding alumni, base themselves on the major strategic needs of the country and the reality of economic and social development, closely combine personal growth with the mission of the times, and achieve professional development with both moral integrity and talent through hard work.

The selection of the Zhu Yujing Scholarship adheres to the core concept of "selecting the best, preferring vacancy to mediocrity", which not only fully demonstrates the benchmark leading role of the award in talent cultivation but also comprehensively displays the comprehensive qualities of accounting students, including diligence in learning, good thinking, daring to innovate, and dedicated practice. In the future, the School will continue to expand the resource matrix, build a more dynamic growth empowerment system, deepen the radiation effect of the scholarship's educational function, and help students achieve leapfrog development in the dual dimensions of professional excellence and personality improvement.
