On the morning of July 1, 2026, the grand ceremony celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at the Great Hall of the People. Beijing Normal University Business School (BNUBS) arranged for its faculty and student Party members to watch the live broadcast collectively in Conference Room 1610 of the Rear Main Building.

Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented the July 1 Medal to recipients and delivered an important speech at the ceremony. The event reviewed the extraordinary 105-year journey of the CPC’s arduous endeavors, systematically summarized the historic achievements and transformative changes secured by the Party as it united and led the Chinese people, and profoundly expounded the fine qualities that sustain the vitality of a century-old major party. It issued a solemn call to the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups across the country to forge ahead on a new journey and make new contributions to the new era, charting the course and providing fundamental guidelines for advancing the new journey toward our second centenary goal.

Faculty and students of the School will thoroughly study and comprehend the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, respond actively to the great call to strive for new historic glories, and fully translate the guiding spirit of the ceremony into all undertakings including talent cultivation, disciplinary development, research and innovation, and ideological and political education for students. The powerful ideological insights contained in the speech will be continuously turned into concrete actions to foster virtue through education and forge ahead on the new journey. Drawing on the sense of responsibility as educators and economics and management students, all will contribute their share to building a strong country and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
