BNUBS Hosted the Review Meeting for the 3rd Zhu Yujing Scholarship

On the afternoon of June 5, 2026, Beijing Normal University Business School (BNUBS) held the review meeting for the 3rd Zhu Yujing Scholarship in Conference Room 1621 of the Rear Main Building. Wang Jun, Associate Party Secretary of BNUBS, faculty members Wu Qinhong, Li Yuxiao and Zhang Haiyan from the Accounting Department, as well as dual-role counselor Li Lun attended the review session.

The Zhu Yujing Scholarship of BNUBS was founded through donations from Ms. Li Na and Mr. Zhu Song. It is designed to reward outstanding undergraduates majoring in accounting with all-round development, and support the cultivation of top innovative accounting talents who possess the four essential qualities, sound humanistic and scientific literacy, solid interdisciplinary foundations in economics and management, proficient expertise and practical skills in accounting, broad global vision and a strong sense of social responsibility. After individual application, document verification and public announcement, six students advanced to the defense and review stage of this year’s scholarship.

 

 

 

Teacher Wu Qinhong elaborated on the founding background and core mission of the scholarship. On behalf of all faculty and students of the Accounting Department, she extended sincere gratitude to Ms. Li Na and Mr. Zhu Song for their long-term care and inspiration for accounting majors, and also thanked the School for its consistent support to talent cultivation in the Accounting Department. Shortlisted candidates delivered presentations covering moral character, academic performance, disciplinary competitions, academic research, social practice and volunteer services, sharing their professional perceptions and growth insights accumulated throughout their accounting studies. The review panel engaged in cordial communication with each candidate concerning their comprehensive competence, professional proficiency and career planning. Teacher Wu Qinhong delivered the closing address. She encouraged accounting students to fully embrace the earnest expectations from distinguished alumni, deepen their professional understanding and expertise, integrate personal growth into national major strategic demands and overall socioeconomic progress, and achieve balanced advancement in morality and competence through diligent pursuit.

 

 

Moving forward, BNUBS will continuously expand its resource network, build a more dynamic growth empowerment system, amplify the educational impact of scholarship and financial aid programs, and facilitate accelerated progress for all BNUBS students in both professional refinement and personal self-improvement.
