Mobile ClassroomWent into Beijing Urban and Rural Business Group

On May 30, 2024, all accounting students of Grade 2022, led by Ms. Wu Qinhong, Head of the Accounting Department,Ms. Li Yuxiao and Ms. Zhang Haiyan, went to Beijing Urban and Rural Business Group to carry out the mobile teaching activity of Management Accounting.

This activity includes two parts: mobile lecture hall and on-site research. The first is the lecture, which is hosted by Li Yuxiao, a teacher of Management Accounting. Ms. Fu Hongjin, Deputy General manager of Beijing Urban and Rural Business Group and an alumnus of BNUBS, introduced the development history of Beijing Urban and Rural Business Group, and shared her 28 years of working experience and knowledge in the group, especially her experience in work philosophy, life attitude and other aspects, among which, Fu Hongjin alumnus' understanding of "willing" impressed everyone. Ms. Li Yanhong, assistant general manager and Minister of Finance of Chinachem Commercial Building of Beijing Urban and Rural Commercial Group Co., LTD., shared her understanding of the role of management accounting in business organizations with her own work experience, so that students could realize the practical knowledge of management accounting theory and understand how management accounting affects an enterprise.

In the final lecture, Fu Hongjin alumni, Ms. Li Yanhong and the staff of the group interacted with the teachers and students of the School, especially discussing the career planning and employment prospects of accounting students. After the exchange, Ms. Wu Qinhong, Director of the Department of Accounting, summarized the activities and expressed her gratitude to Beijing Urban and Rural Business Group.

After the lecture, the students of the Department of Accounting began to conduct on-site research. Through the observation and experience in the shopping mall, the students will sum up the management experience and shortcomings of the shopping mall, and put forward reasonable suggestions.

This mobile teaching activity will bring the management accounting course from the classroom to the business practice, so that students can better understand and apply the knowledge learned from books, further deepen the understanding of accounting discipline.
