BNUBS Held a Theoretical Lecture on "Structural Employment Contradictions among College Graduates and Their Alleviation"

On April 18, 2025, the 18th training session of the Secondary Party School of BNUBS and the 147th "BNUBS Famous Expert Lecture Series" were held in the lecture hall of the Electronic Building. The theme of this lecture was "Structural Employment Contradictions among College Graduates and Their Alleviation". More than 140 people, including the trainees of the 18th Secondary Party School of BNUBS and the teachers and students of the School, participated in this lecture.

The keynote speaker of this lecture was Professor Lai Desheng. Professor Lai is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Social and Ecological Civilization at the Party School of the Central Committee (National Academy of Governance). He studied and worked at Beijing Normal University for a long time and served as the dean of BNUBS. His main research fields include labor market, employment, and educational economics. He is a member of the expert database of the Office of the State Council Employment Promotion and Labor Protection Work Leading Group and the vice president of the China Labor Economics Society. He has been selected as a distinguished professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program by the Ministry of Education, a national candidate for the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project", a national cultural master and one of the "Four Batches" of talents, a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences, and enjoys the special allowance of the State Council.

The lecture was hosted by Professor Qi Yudong, the dean of BNUBS. Professor Qi emphasized that high - quality and full employment is the core goal of China's employment work in the new era.
