A Delegation from the School of English at Dalian Foreign Studies University Came to Our School for Research and Exchange

On the afternoon of November 28, 2024, Liang Ruobing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Associate Dean of the School of English at Dalian Foreign Studies University, Yu Hongxia, Director of the Business English major, and Huang Xinzhi, Secretary of the Graduate Party Branch, visited our School for research and exchange. Jiang Jie, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee and Associate Dean of the School, Tong Qionglu,Associate Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Management, Wang Wei, Office Director, Wang Jun, Party Committee Organizer, and Lu Yuchen, Secretary of the Graduate Party Branch of Economics and Resource Management, attended the research symposium.

Associate Dean Jiang Jie, on behalf of the School, warmly welcomed the visit of the School of English at Dalian Foreign Studies University to our School for research, and introduced the School's professional settings, talent training reform measures to adapt to the digital and intelligent wave, and other related situations. Associate Dean Tong Luqiong gave a detailed introduction on the undergraduate talent training program, curriculum design, textbook construction, internship practice, and other aspects of the Department of Digital Economy and Management. Lu Yuchen gave an introduction on the experience of building "100 Model Party Branches for Graduate Students" in national universities.

Secretary Liang Ruobing expressed gratitude for the warm reception of our School and introduced the overview of the discipline structure, major settings, and talent cultivation of the School of English at Dalian Foreign Studies University. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as empowering disciplines and majors with digital intelligence, building the teaching staff, promoting the "integration and dual high" work, and building high-quality graduate student party branches.

This research and exchange activity has promoted mutual understanding between both parties. Both sides stated that they will continue to maintain close contact and jointly promote interdisciplinary exchanges and innovative development between the two academies.
