This activity enables accounting students to step out of the classroom and gain first-hand insights into the business layout, digital and intelligent transformation achievements, and talent development systems of a world-leading professional services firm, as well as clarify diverse career pathways within the finance and accounting sector.

The visit kicked off with an engaging ice-breaking session, where interactive games quickly fostered a harmonious atmosphere for collaborative learning. Afterwards, EY campus recruitment HR delivered professional sharing focusing on audit and advisory services. The presentation outlined core competencies required for relevant roles, and systematically illustrated long-term career development trajectories covering the firm’s strategic layout, talent training mechanisms, employee progression pathways, supporting learning resources and practical exchange platforms.

During the business exchange session, three HR representatives from different EY service lines elaborated on core business segments including audit, tax, advisory, and strategy and transactions. Drawing on real work cases, they unpacked day-to-day responsibilities of various positions, and introduced cutting-edge service areas such as digital intelligence tools, carbon advisory, corporate M&A, and cross-border taxation, presenting a full picture of the diversified prospects of the industry.

Towards the end of the event, EY campus recruitment HR introduced internship and development opportunities tailored to students at different academic stages and offered targeted career guidance. By analyzing high-quality resume samples, the speakers pointed out common pitfalls in job applications, providing practical references for students to map out their career plans.

Following the exchange session, faculty and students toured the office premises to experience the working environment of a top-tier financial professional services organization. Finally, all participants took a group photo with EY staff on site, marking the successful conclusion of the corporate visit.

This practical activity allowed accounting students to develop an intuitive understanding of the actual landscape of the finance and accounting industry as well as its digital and intelligent transformation trends, while equipping them with actionable job-seeking skills. Students expressed that they gained tremendous insights from the visit. Building on this experience, they will actively broaden their industry vision, consolidate professional expertise, and build core competitiveness for long-term career development.
