"Love for Alumni, Discuss New Quality Together" – BNUBS Alumni Development Forum (2024) Was Successfully Held

On May 25, 2024, the Alumni Development Forum (2024) of BNUBS, with the theme of "Love for Alumni, Discuss New Quality Together", was successfully held. The forum consists of the main forum and four sub-forums: education, finance, human resources and service industry. Alumni, external mentors and representatives of teachers and students gathered together to share industry trends, research results and innovative thinking.

Through the form of keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, alumni gatheredto participate in the event and further promote the release of industry value and industrial potential. On the same day, the School organized student volunteers to accompany alumni to tour the campus, explain and visit the history museum, so that alumni can review their study time and recall memorable moments, and realize the expectation of alumni to "return to their Alma mater".

1. Opening Ceremony and Main Forum

The opening ceremony and main forum of the Alumni Development Forum was held at 1 PM in the Sixth Conference Room of the Capital Building. Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Hu Conghui, Vice president of the Party Committee, Han Lili, Deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Hu Haifeng, Director of the Department of Finance and Hao Ying, professor of the Department of Accounting attended the forum.Tan Xiaofen, a 1997 alumnus of the School and professor of finance at the School of Economics and Management of Beihang University, Bai Sensen, a 2021 MBA alumnus of the school, deputy general manager of Beijing Huatian Catering Holding Group and chairman of Beijing Wanfang Co., LTD., and other alumni representatives of the school's external tutors, business leaders and representatives of teachers and students also attended the opening ceremony of the forum. The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Secretary Han Lili.

At the opening ceremony, Dean Qi Yudong first delivered a speech. He introduced the continuous growth of the School in recent years, the development achievements in the field of undergraduate, doctoral and MBA talent training, and the continuous adherence to the goal of talent training. Dean Qi said that over the past 40 years, tens of thousands of graduates all over the world have become national examples and social pillars with their professional and wisdom, made due contributions to the economic and social development of the country, and won a reputation for the School, becoming a beautiful business card of the School. He hopes that the majority of alumni can continue to make good use of the exchange platform provided by the School, share their own experience, learn from each other, achieve mutual achievements, and common development.

Subsequently, guests Tan Xiaofen and Bai Sensen alumni delivered keynote speeches respectively.

Tan Xiaofen analyzed the changes of the current economic and financial environment at home and abroad from different perspectives of the external environment and the domestic environment. He said that the core of new quality productivity lies in scientific and technological innovation, pointed out the shortcomings of the current Chinese financial system to support innovation, and gave unique views on how to "new" the financial industry. Through his own industry, Bai Sensen introduced the relevant situation of how the new quality productivity enables the high-quality development of the catering industry. From the perspective of rejuvenating "new" catering workers, creating "new" catering labor materials, and reforming "new" catering labor objects, he took us to understand that around the main line of revitalizing consumption, the service industry also needs to embrace "number intelligence."

At the end of the main forum, Associate Secretary Han Lili pointed out in her summary that alumni and the School "have the same frequency resonance", and through two-way empowerment and power transformation, it will also become a "new quality productivity", helping the development of teachers and students' careers and the construction of first-class schools. She said that the School will continue to do a good job of alumni work, with the best service attitude, the greatest support for the development of alumni escort.

01 Education sub-Forum

After the main forum, four thematic sub-forums were held in parallel in the conference rooms of the Jingshi Building.

The theme of the Education sub-forum was "Industry Evolution: Thinking about the New Pattern of Education Entrepreneurship", co-organized with Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center, presided over by Zhu Min, Associate professor of the Department of Economics, School of Economics and Management, Beijing Normal University. Secretary Sun Zhijun and Associate Professor of the Department of Economics Xu Hui attended the forum. Qi Jin Group (Red Yellow Blue Education) founder and president Shi Yanlai, Chinese Academy of Sciences University doctor, a box of Qiqi CE0 Xie Qin, Beijing Yitai Electronics Group Zhili headquarters general manager Ye Hailong, Zhongzhi Technology Group Beijing/Tianjin Company general manager Fan Ziyi, Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center director Yang Dan, Mr. Yang Fan, Minister of Industry and Education Integration Department of Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center and Secretary General of Meta-Universe Education Laboratory, attended the forum.

Zhu Min pointed out the changes of AI intelligence to the development of applied education and technical support in the host, prompting education experts to combine their deep experience and professional knowledge in the field of industry in the sub-forum to collide ideas and explore in depth.

Shi Yanlai explained that education also has great irreplaceability under the environment of AI, and proposed that the development of education enterprises cannot be achieved without three perspectives and three hearts, namely, the perspective of value, the perspective of openness and the perspective of the future and the normal heart that ADAPTS to optimism, the initiative that confronts difficulties head-on, and the heart-for-heart empathy. Ye Hailong put forward the integration of digital intelligence technology and education industry, he pointed out that the construction of intelligence is the basic construction of education, and the digitalization of educati

on will bring more opportunities to education. Focusing on the innovation and opportunities of quality education institutions in the new era, Xieqin introduced the educational concept of "a box of Quqi" and the educational principles of its scientific and creative toys. Fan Ziyi talked about the feasibility, inevitability and necessity of promoting the development of vocational education, and said that the country is now promoting the diversion and transformation of talents to vocational education, and vocational education is a key development trend. Xu Hui said that the current education industry related enterprises are facing many challenges, transformation ideas and development opportunities, which brings a lot of inspiration to the research of education issues.

In his conclusion, Secretary Sun Zhijun pointed out that the cutting-edge views and vivid cases of the sub-forum brought valuable enlightenment and harvest to the audience, and expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guests for their wonderful sharing and support for the work of the school's alumni. The theme of the financial sub-forum was "Building a Collaborative Ecology between Industry and Finance that Serves New Quality Productivity", presided over by Mr. Hu Haifeng, Dean of the Department of Finance, BNUBS, and Vice President Hu Conghui attended the forum. Mei Feng, President of the Industrial Research Institute of Zhongguancun Real Estate Chamber of Commerce, Feng Lu, Chairman of Beijing Zhongke Digital Technology Co., LTD., President of Zhongguancun Talent Association Meta-Universe Digital Real Integration Committee, Chen Yubo, managing partner of Qingkong Tiancheng, He Lei, Deputy general manager of Equity Business Division of Everyone Asset Management Co., LTD., Wang Yujie, director and general manager of China NENG Construction Group Beijing Neng Jianguo Commercial Factoring Company, Zheng Guodong, legal person and CFO of Green Crystal Semiconductor Technology (Beijing) Co., LTD., legal person, director and CEO of Green Core Semiconductor (Hefei) Co., LTD., Dai Jian, Technical director of Hongtu Innovation Exhibition, Huang Tao, Associate Director of the Secretary Office of the Party Committee of Taiping Reinsurance (China) Co., LTD., and other guests attended the forum.

Hu Haifeng stressed the importance of "building a strong financial country", prompting the guests to share their insights and experiences in financial business models, financial transformation and technological innovation from the perspective of global vision and innovative spirit. Associate Dean Hu Conghui expressed the hope that everyone will bring the collision of ideas to life and study, through the innovation and integration of technical resources, the operation of finance and the help of capital, so that various industries have a blowout development and broader prospects.

From the perspective of the practice of the combination of production and finance of the new quality productivity in western China, Mei Feng proposed that the industry must be clear about the pain points and demands of the industry to embrace new technology. Combined with international vision sharing, Feng Lu elaborated different views from centralized mode, blockchain to Web3 technology, and discussed how web3 technology can help smes achieve international trade inclusive finance. Chen Yubo proposed that enterprises need to pay attention to the difference between science and technology and corporate genetic logic, and need to understand the industry team with mature market, and pay attention to internal management. He Lei elaborated on how insurance funds help the development of new quality productivity, indicating that state-owned assets are an important force in the equity market. Wang Yujie put forward that the activation of data elements is the key to the high-quality development of new quality productivity, and is also the driving force to seek high-quality development and improve new quality productivity in the current digital economy era. Zheng Guodong pointed out the financial challenges facing the semiconductor industry, as well as the two major opportunities to improve the supply chain and clarify the positioning of enterprises. Dai Jian shares the definition and composition of the new wealth. Huang Tao said that China's insurance industry needs to provide customized and high-end risk protection for the development of new quality productivity, and gradually establish pricing power and international influence in the professional field as a breakthrough in turn.

03 Human Resources Sub-Forum

The theme of the Human Resource sub-forum was "Shaping Human Resource Management in the Era of AI", presided over by Professor Li Hai of the Department of Human Resource Management of BNUBS, and Associate Secretary Han Lili attended the forum. Sales HRBPHead Chen Yuchen, Human Resources Manager Hong Liping, Beijing Zhiyuan Jialan Technology Co., LTD. Director Partner and Executive general manager Huang Lei, Jingyou Software Consulting Director Zheng Guilong, Guo Qin, founder of Beijing Heart Perspective Information Consulting Co., LTD., and CHO Qi Dian, Sanyuan Jidi Education Industrial Park, attended the forum.

Mr. Li Hai, as the host, is also the "guide" who shares the reading period of many guests. Li pointed out that AI is changing the way of human resource management, and people need to make full use of AI's potential, which is a new technology and management model that every HR practitioner and enterprise should continue to learn and adapt to. Teacher Li also took brain-computer interface technology as an example and proposed that the field of artificial intelligence has broad prospects. Associate Secretary Han Lili asked questions and discussed the application of technical means in the recruitment management of employers, paying special attention to the new situation and new rules of resume screening, mock interview and other links, hoping that senior HR can give students advice to calmly cope with employment opportunities.

In combination with the actual application situation, He Lu introduced the current situation of AI helping the rapid development of the human resources sector and improving the quality and efficiency, and shared all aspects from the perspectives of efficiency improvement, experience optimization, talent control, intelligent decision-making and intelligent assistant. Huang Lei put forward three conclusions that AI has different impacts on human resources in various industries, AI will accelerate the arrival of the era of personalized innovation, and AI can create a large number of new job opportunities. Zheng Guilong introduced the basic concept of digital employees and the functions and applications of RPA. Hu Dejiao introduced the distribution and layout of AI-assisted medicine and health industry in daily life, and popularized science from the interconnection between patients, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals in digital medicine and health. Chen Yuchen shared the risks and opportunities brought by AI to enterprises from the four levels of politics, economy, society and technology. From the perspective of employee needs, Guo Qin explained the theoretical model and methodology of mindfulness, and shared how to apply mindfulness to maintain a stable state of mind in the digital age.

In the round table discussion, Qi Dian combined his many years of job-hunting experience, from the "screw" of the world's top 500 to the mainstay of small and medium-sized enterprises today, to describe two completely different career feelings. Hong Liping shared how the real estate industry is different from past forms of work with the help of AI empowerment. Combined with the theme sharing, other participants also participated in the active questions and interactions, and the scene atmosphere was active. AI Juan, Li Shu, Xiong Liang, Sun Dan, Liu Yijun and other guests also shared how to follow the trend of scientific and technological progress in the era of AI and do a good job in human resource management from the future development trend of human resources, the practical cases of AI in talent selection, use, pre-retention, and how AI helps enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency.

04 Service industry sub-forum

The theme of the Service industry sub-forum was "Promoting the speed and Upgrading of Modern Service Industry", which was chaired by Ms. Hao Ying, professor of Accounting Department of BNUBS. Xie Dongliang, equity Partner of Lixin CPA Firm and national accounting leader (reserve) talent; Yang Yang, Vice President of Beijing Travel Agency Association and General manager of Beijing Spring Travel Agency; Gao Juntong, founding partner of Beijing Jihe Law Firm and Beijing entrepreneurship Mentor; Wang Shifeng, Chairman of Beijing China Enterprise Service Group and Vice President of Beijing Young Entrepreneurs Association; Lu Jun, MBA industry mentor of Beijing Normal University, former Secretary of the Party Committee, director and general manager of CITS Shanghai Co., LTD., Bai Sensen, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Beijing Huatian Catering Holding Group, Yan Li, chairman of Beijing Wanfang Co., LTD., partner of KPMG Huazhen Accounting Firm, bestselling author Lu Wenli and other guests attended the forum.

Ms. Hao emphasized that the upgrading of the service industry plays a vital supporting role in cultivating emerging productivity, and the development direction, challenges and outstanding cases of the service industry should also be deeply discussed and analyzed.

Xie Dongliang proposed that the development of the CPA industry has shifted from the stage of high-speed growth to the stage of high-quality development, and as the supply-side CPA industry, its professional capabilities may have the "short board effect" caused by uneven, which needs to be further improved. Yang Yang proposed that tourism can promote social employment, stimulate consumption "internal circulation", increase foreign exchange earnings and economic vitality, and further promote cultural exchanges. Takajun Hitomi introduced the impact of the new Company Law on the service industry in terms of the change of registered capital, the increase of registration forms, the change of corporate organizational structure, the change of directors, the change of the authority of managers, the change of equity system and the change of the responsibility of directors and supervisors. Wang Shifeng put forward an understanding of how to introduce new quality productivity into industrial parks, namely, the construction of a good innovation ecology, the cultivation of emerging industries, and the optimization of the business environment. Yan Li proposed that in the new quality productivity environment, accounting firms must make corresponding actions, including strengthening information construction, digital management, and the establishment of intelligent audit tools. Lu Wenli shared how to do a good job of raising and interacting with a speech question, as well as paying attention to the mirror sense and making eye contact with the audience during the speech.

Going back to school hand in hand to continue the friendship, talking about the classics and shine. The Alumni Development Forum (2024) received a positive response. It brings together the wisdom of alumni and promotes alumni cooperation, gives full play to the functions of alumni in the governance and development of the School, and jointly promotes the brand building and alumni career development ofBNUBS.
