According to the instructions of the School Party committee, on the morning of August 23, 2023, the leadership team of BNUBS held a democratic life meeting on the theme of education in the conference room 1610 of the Rear Main Building. Leadership members attended the meeting. Yu Xiaolei, Minister of the Student Party Committee, Associate Leader of sixth supervision guidance group of theme education guided the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

At the meeting, Sun Zhijun made a report on behalf of the School leadership.He summarized the study and discussion carried out by the leadership of the School, and sorted out the rectification and implementation of the problems of the democratic life meeting in 2022. From the six aspects of theoretical learning, political quality, ability, responsibility, work style, integrity and self-discipline, he investigated the outstanding problems in accordance with the twelve specific requirements of the General Secretary Xi Jinping on casting soul by learning, increasing wisdom by learning, improving wind by learning, and promoting dry by learning. He then deeply analyzed negative typical cases, and put forward the next direction of efforts.

Team members made personal speeches respectively, briefly reported their learning gains. They deeply investigated the main problems existing in the above six aspects and analyzed the causes of the problems, seriously carried out criticism and self-criticism, and earnestly put themselves, their responsibilities, and their work in it. They spoke freely and put forward corrective measures targeted at the main problems.

Sun Zhijun made a concluding speech. He said that the leadership team of the School would continue to arm its mind with the Xi Jinping Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, transform the results of the theme education into the actual results of the development of the School in a timely manner, further strengthen its responsibility, enhance the spirit of officers and entrepreneurs, gather their hearts and work hard, and promote the high-quality development of various undertakings of the School.
