The Meeting for Announcing the Appointment and Removal of Cadres of BNUBS was Held

On the morning of July 7, 2025, the meeting for announcing the appointment and removal of cadres of BNUBS was held in Conference Room 1722 of the Rear Main Building. Ma Xiao, Associate Director of the Organization Department of the University Party Committee, members of the School's Party and administrative leadership, heads of various internal institutions, secretaries of faculty Party branches, and representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of BNUBS.

Ma Xiao read out the decision of the University Party Committee on the appointment and removal of cadres: Comrade Wang Jun was appointed as Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of BNUBS; Comrade Jiang Jie was removed from the post of Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of BNUBS.

In her speech, Jiang Jie sincerely thanked the University Party Committee for its trust and cultivation, expressed her firm support for the decision of the University Party Committee, and extended sincere congratulations to Comrade Wang Jun on his new post.

Wang Jun thanked the organization for its trust and entrustment, and felt that the new post bears great responsibilities and a glorious mission. He said he would quickly adapt to the work of the new post, focus on the main responsibilities and tasks, and carry out the work solidly from such aspects as strengthening the foundation of ideological guidance, practicing the purpose of educating and serving people, and docking with national strategic needs.

Qi Yudong, Dean of the School, expressed his respect for Jiang Jie's hard work over the past three years in his speech, and put forward two expectations for Wang Jun in his new post: first, to deepen the effectiveness of education, fully implement the Party's educational policy, and promote the normalization, institutionalization and fruitful development of "simultaneous development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education and all-round education involving all staff, the whole process and all aspects"; second, to always maintain an honest and clean nature, work steadfastly and conduct oneself with integrity, and strive to become a good cadre recognized by teachers and students.

Sun Zhijun emphasized that this cadre adjustment fully reflects the great importance and care of the University Party Committee for the construction of the School's cadre team. He affirmed Jiang Jie's contributions in the post of Associate Secretary and expected her to continue to perform her duties diligently in the post of Associate Dean; he congratulated Wang Jun on his new post and encouraged him to quickly adapt to the role change, strengthen thinking, be brave in innovation and work solidly in the new post, work together with the college's leading team to unite and lead all teachers and students, firmly implement the work arrangements of the University Party Committee, and go all out to promote the high-quality development of the School.
