On the morning of May 9th, Wang Shoujun, Vice President and Director of the Administrative Committee of Zhuhai Campus, visited BNUBS and had a discussion on the staggered development between BNUBS and the Bay Area International Business School and the jointly efforts in supporting the construction of relevant disciplines in the field of Economics of Beijing Normal University. Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee, and relevant comrades of the leading group of Zhuhai Park participated in the investigation.

Wang Shoujun introduced the strategic layout of "one Body, two wings" and the construction progress of Zhuhai campus, and praised the contribution of BNUBS in personnel training and team building of Zhuhai Campus.He pointed out that the implementation of the strategic layout of "one Body and two wings" is an important support for the university's "Double First-Class initiative" , and also an important practice of the university's construction and development during the "14th Five-year Plan". In order to promote the development of related disciplines in field of economics, BNUBS and Bay Area International Business School, while cooperating with each other and giving into full play to their respective advantages,need to cater to the needs of the Greater Bay Area and compliment each other. Besides, they also need to make a sound plan in discipline development, optimize the allocation of resources, and constantly improve the level of discipline development. BNU will also make efforts to promote the complementation of the two Schools and provide necessary support needed in the development of economic disciplinesand cooperation between the two Schools, so as to serve better for the talent training and the economic and social development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province and Zhuhai city.

Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, said that the School would deepen the implementation of the strategic layout of "one Body and two wings", and actively coordinate, support and cooperate with Bay Area International Business School in terms of course settings and faculty construction.Sun Zhijun, Party Secretary of BNUBS, reported the progress and bottleneck of current discipline construction, and said that with the support of BNU, BNUBS will work with Bay Area International Business School to jointly serve the “Double First-Class initiative" construction and the strategic layout of "one Body and two wings".
