On March 21th, 2022, BNUBS held a flag-raising ceremony with the theme of "Please rest assured, We are ready to build a powerful China" at The Jingshi Square.Ge Yuliang, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of BNUBS, Teacher Wang Jun, Teacher Gao Jingjing, part-time counselors of students and representatives of undergraduates and postgraduates of the school, more than 150 peoplealtogether, participated in this activity. 

The flag-raising ceremony was presided over by Zhao Jialiang, a 2020 graduate student of BNUBS.

At the beginning of the flag-raising ceremony, the female national flag guard of the school raised the bright five-star red flag.All teachers and students saluted the national flag and sang the national anthem.

Under the bright five-star red flag, Wei Min, a 2019 undergraduate student of BNUBS, delivered a speech entitled "My Story of fighting for the country". Wei Min shared his own stories, including his speech to the Communist Party of China on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China as a representative of the Communist Youth League, opening recitation classes for the Chishui No. 6 middle school students in the summer volunteer teaching summer camp, joining the BNU’s July 1 special youth propaganda group and serving as a volunteer for the Winter Olympics, which are all shining with majestic and tenacious youth power. Wei Min encouraged the students to respond to the ardent expectations of the Party and the people with practical actions, welcome the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the 120th anniversary of BNU with excellent results and continue to contribute the great rejuvenation of China.  

Hugo once said, “Who to idle away one's time, youth will fade, life will be abandoned him.” Youth is to struggle, not to squander. Only in this way, when we look back and say goodbye to our youth, we can be satisfied without regret. At the end of the ceremony, all the teachers and students read a fragment of Mr. Li Dazhao'sYouth, praise the youth under the national flag, make promise to the Party and the country and fight for the bright future together!
