On the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), 11 CPC members, including Wang Shanmai from BNUBS, received commemorative medals entitled "50 Years of Glory in the CPC". The Party Branch of Faculty Management and the Second Party Branch of Economics were awarded the "Advanced Party Branch". Wu Qinhong and other 9 party members were awarded university-level "Outstanding Communist Party members". Wang Peiqi and other 10 party members were awarded school-level "Outstanding Communist Party members".

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has issued commemorative medals featuring "50 years of honor in the Party" to surviving Party members who have reached the 50th anniversary of the party by July 1, 2021 and have consistently performed well. 11 party members from the School of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University, including Wang Shanmai, Deng Jinwen, Bai Aizhu, Li Xiaofeng, He Zhang, Zhang Jianren, Zheng Peiquan, Peng Yanguang, Cheng Shuli, Zhan Junzhong and Teng Xianjian, received the award.

In consideration of the fact that most of the senior party members were old and had difficulty in moving, members of the leadership team of BNUBS led a team to visit them, talked with them, asked about their health and living conditions, and awarded commemorative medals to them.
