To draw wisdom and strength from the great struggle of the Party and thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, We need to consolidate and deepen the educational achievements under the theme of "staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind" so as to encourage all faculty and students to promote the construction of a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. In order to achieve that, the Party Committee, in the spirit of the document of the Implementation Plan on the Study and Education of the Party History (No. 13 [2021] issued by Shi Dang), held a mobilization meeting for Party history study on March 30^th, 2021, in the 1610 meeting room of the Rear Main Building. All Party Committee members, Party and Government team members, members of Staff Party Branch Secretary and Branches, Youth League Committee Secretary and Student Party Branch Secretary representatives attended this meeting.

First of all, Secretary Sun Zhijun briefly introduced the objectives and requirements and learning contents of this study. He pointed out that the study of the history of the Party should be integrated with the study of the history of the new China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of the development of socialism to understand the truth, increase confidence, honor morality and put it into practice. The main contents of the study include: the glorious course of the CPC's century-long struggle, the CPC's great contribution to the country and the nation, the CPC's unswerving determination to serve the people's original purpose, the CPC's major theoretical achievements in adapting Marxism to China's conditions, the great spirit forged by the CPC in the course of its long struggle and The CPC's valuable experience in successfully promoting China's revolution, construction and reform. At the same time, the study and education of Party history should pay attention to the "seven combinations", especially, the combination of the study of Party history with the celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Party and the 120^th anniversary of the founding of the University, the 14^t Five-year Reform and Development of the College, the construction of "Double First Class", the "Three Comprehension-oriented Education", the discipline construction and national service strategy, and the rectification of inspection problems.

Then, Secretary Sun Zhijun led the teachers to discuss the arrangement and specific plans. He pointed out that we should grasp the key time points such as the mobilization conference, the "July 1" celebration conference, the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the summary conference to carry out the study and education of the Party history in different stages and with emphasis. The Party committee decided that, in addition to the learning contents stipulated in the implementation plan of Party history learning education, we should also focus on the course, policy and history of the Communist Party of China in economic development based on the characteristics of the major and the academic background. The Party Committee of the College, together with the Youth League Committee of the College and relying on all Party branches, Youth League branches, student organizations, social groups and class collectives, carried out the activities of "I Want to Learn Party History", "I Want to Tell Party History" , Party history study seminar, "One Hundred Years of Glory" series activities, theory training of the Secondary Party school of BNUBS, "My Red Memory" veteran interviews, "Welcome Everyone to the Red Base " special social activities, Glutinous Rice" cultural and creative product design activities for the centenary of the founding of the Party, "I do practical work for teachers and students" practical activities, and organization of seminar.

Finally, Secretary Sun Zhijun put forward three requirements for the study. Firstly, we need to strengthen the organization and leadership. The Party Committee would set up the study and education leading group with Secretary Sun Zhijun as the leader, President Qi Yudong and Deputy Secretary Ge Yuliang as the deputy leader and other party and government team members as the group members to work with the party construction supervision group to supervise the study. Secondly, we should attach great importance to the study and education of the party history, and make it clear that the focus was on the members of the party and government bodies. Thirdly, we should grasp the content and form of the activities, so as to combine learning and education with discipline construction, college development and our own work.
