To deepen the discussion of education and teaching, we have welcomed the symposium of high quality student bases.

From November 21th-22th, 2020, the Educational Administration Department invited well-known middle schools in Jiangxi province to attend the symposium. Liang Ying, Associate Academic Dean and Director of Admission Office; Liu Risheng, Associate Director of the Admission Office; Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS; Zhang Pingdan, Associate Dean of BNUBS; and Members of Jiangxi Recruitment Publicity Team attende the symposium.

At the symposium, presidents and teachers of secondary schools affiliated to Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Fengcheng Middle School, Liantang No. 1 Middle School, Jiujiang No. 1 Middle School and some students from Jiangxi province made active speeches. As for the issues related to secondary education and college entrance examination, Hu Yunxiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and President; Kong Liuquan, Director of Data Center and Associate Director of Academic Affairs of Liantang No. 1 Middle School, respectively exchanged their ideas and raised questions about college entrance examination reform, student career planning, and college students' propaganda back to school. Jin Xianghan, Vice President of Fengcheng Middle School, and Liu Juan, Dean of Jiujiang No. 1 Middle School, discussed the relationship between family education and school education, and pointed out the influence of parents' understanding of higher education on middle school students.

The participating students from Jiangxi Province also expressed their views on the enrollment situation of Beijing Normal University in Jiangxi Province, the reasons for their choices of Beijing Normal University and their suggestions on the enrollment work of Beijing Normal University in Jiangxi Province. Teachers and students actively interacted with each other and the discussion atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.

The successful holding of this symposium further strengthened the communication and cooperation between our university and the middle school. The leaders of the participating schools of Jiangxi Province all expressed that they would actively cooperate with the recruitment publicity of Beijing Normal University in the future, and strive to create a good environment for students to become talents, cultivate more talents for the society and provide more high-quality students for the university.
