On September 3rd, 2020, the School of Economics and Business Management of Beijing Normal University held a special meeting online for counselors in student work on the Tencent Conference. Ge Yuliang, Deputy Chairperson of the Party Committee of the college, Zhang Pingdan, Associate Dean of the college, and department heads, counselors as well as academic teachers attended this meeting.

First of all, Deputy Chairperson Ge Yuliang pointed out the key points of counselors' work in the new semester, and emphasized the matters needing attention for head teachers in the returning of senior students and enrolling of new students. Then, the academic teachers talked about talent cultivation. Xu Xing, the academic teacher for undergraduates, talked about the enrollment of undergraduate in Grade 2020 and summarized the gains and achievements of teachers in the recruitment publicity in Jiangxi. Li Yingshu, the academic teacher for postgraduates, focused on the enrollment of academic graduate students in Grade 2020 and their major selection. Zhang Li, the director of study in MBA Center, mainly focused on the basic situation of parallel courses for Master of Business Administration students of Grade 2020. Associate Dean Zhang Pingdan summarized the enrollment work, expressed his expectations for head teachers of freshmen and hoped that they could do a good job in professional education by holding class meetings and engaging in other methods to increase our professional identification and college identification. In the end, teachers had an in-depth discussion on issues including senior students' returning, campus access management, entrance education for freshmen and the setting of curriculum. 

This meeting enabled all teachers to have a better understanding of the relevant regulations and documents recently issued by the school and they also learned about the enrollment situation of students in the school in 2020, had a clear understanding of what they should do as head teachers, especially head teachers for freshmen, which is of great significance to promote the college to improve student work and talent cultivation.
