BNUBS Held Network Talk with the aSSIST

At 3 p.m. 17th of July, Beijing time, BNUBS held a bilateral network talk with the Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies (the aSSIST). Head of New Project Development Department of the aSSIST Yoon Sung-il, director of China MAB/Ph.D Project Professor Huang Fei and Visiting Professor Yin Wenyan, associate dean of BNUBS Professor Cai Hongbo, director of Education Standards Centre Associated Professor Zheng Feihu, deputy director of MBA Center Assistant Professor Zhou Jianghua, Director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation Xie Jia and project director Shang Yihong attended the network talk. Zheng Feihu and Yin Wenyan co-host the network talk.

 

Professor Cai Hongbo first reviewed the pleasant visit to the aSSIST led by dean Qi Yudong in October last year, and at the same time, he thanked the internationally renowned management scientist and professor of the aSSIST Mr. Hwy-chang Moon for his kind assistance. In particular, aSSIST donated epidemic prevention materials to BNUBS in April this year, which reflects the friendly friendship of both sides in fighting COVID-19 epidemic and working together to defeat the COVID-19 Outbreak. Cai believes that aSSIST is highly complementary to BNUBS in terms of educational philosophy and school pattern, etc., especially Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program with highly competitive and attractive. He hopes that both sides can cooperate in many aspects, including summer camp, MBA joint degree program and DBA program. Then Mr. Yoon Sung-il introduced the development history of aSSIST and expressed his ardent hope to develop international cooperation with BNUBS. In the discussion on specific cooperation pattern, Professor Huang Fei represented the Education Management MBA Program and DBA Program which are tailored to BNUBS by aSSIST. She also elaborated the teaching staff, educational system and curriculum in detail. When deputy director Zhou Jianghua introduced the features of BNUBS MBA Program, he had a deep communication with aSSIST especially in the direction of education operation and management training. He believes that the two sides have the same ideas and the prospects for cooperation is promising. 

 

 

This network talk also extended the cooperation from traditional MBA/DBA Degree Programs to non-academic international education, summer camp and transnational training for entrepreneurs. The two sides agreed that, in the context of the current epidemic, it is suggested to start with online course series and online lecture series as soon as possible, combining the characteristics and professional orientation of MBA students of BNUBS, to guide more of our students to start planning and initiating their own international education experience as soon as possible.
