To implement the “Opinions on the General Office of the State Council on Reforming and Improving the Postdoctoral Systems” (GOSC File No. 87, 2015), to execute talent strategy of reinvigorating China through human resources development better, and to accelerate the cultivation of a batch of high-level innovative young scientific talents, and to further optimize the structure of postdoctoral research stations, based on the reviews of Expert Group of the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, National Postdoctoral Management Committee approved 339 postdoctoral research stations to be set up. BNUBS’s postdoctoral research station of Business Administration is one of them. This is second postdoctoral research station after postdoctoral research station of Theoretical Economics which was approved to be set up in 2001.

Undergraduate program of National Economic Management of Beijing Normal University was set up as early as in 1985. The postgraduate program of Enterprises Management in 1993. Later in 1998, the National Economic Management was renamed as Business Administration and started to enroll students. In 2003, the undergraduate programs of Accounting and the E-commerce were approved to enroll students. The postgraduate program of Accountancy the same year. The program of MBA in 2007. In 2011, the authority of awarding the master’s degree in the first-level discipline of Business Administration was granted. In 2019, the authority of awarding the doctoral degree in the first-level discipline of Business Administration was granted independently.

In the next stage, we will earnestly implement all kinds of the management systems and relevant requirements of the state on postdoctoral system; strengthen the construction of postdoctoral research station, set up and perfect postdoctoral work regulations, recruit, train and use the postdoctoral researchers actively, enhance the joint training with postdoctoral scientific research workstations, and give full play the unique role of the postdoctoral systems in cultivation of young high-level innovative talents, to make new contributions to promote the development of postdoctoral education of Beijing Normal University.
