At 2:30 pm on January 4th, the awarding ceremony of the "2018 Annual News People Touched Beijing Normal University" ceremony was successfully held at the Student Activity Center. Teacher Li Chong from the School of Economics and Business Administration was awarded the title of “Moving BNU News people”.

Teaching and educating people for the 37th year, revitalizing the department over the past 18 years, teacher Li Chong infiltrated a savvy mind, guiding a field of change and development. Moisture is silent, words and deeds, his indifferent life attitude and tenacious academic spirit are all admirable. In the academic field, Teacher Li Chong is quite accomplished. He made creative explorations in establishing Marxist international economics, proposed a plan to build a super-sovereign international currency to promote the reform of the international monetary system, and proposed a systematic proposal to promote the transformation of China's foreign economic development mode. He also has many achievements in the fields of finance, world economy, and western economics.

In terms of education, Mr. Li Chong is also a famous teacher in the education sector. He won the title of “National Excellent Teacher” in 1995, and won the title of “Top Ten Teachers Most Welcomed by Undergraduates” for five consecutive years. He was recently awarded the “Four Haves” Good Teacher Gold Medal. For the students, he is a gentle elder; for colleagues, he is a model of erudition.
