On the afternoon of September 9, BNU held a commendation ceremony with the theme of “Promoting the noble morality and striving to be a ‘four-good’ teacher (with ideals and belief, virtue, knowledge and kindness)” in the Yingdong Academic Hall to celebrate the 34th Teacher’s Day and the 116th Anniversary of the founding of BNU. More than 300 people participated in the conference, including: Cheng Jianping, Party Committee Secretary, Dong Qi, Deputy Party Secretary and President of BNU, other school leaders, representatives of commended personnel, middle-level cadres, and representatives of teachers and students from various departments. In the conference, teachers of BNUBS won several awards.

Professor Li Shi of BNUBS, who delivered a speech as a teacher representative, has led his team to do research on China’s income distribution and poverty for 30 years and been spoken highly by domestic and international economic circles.
