BNUBS Participated in the National MBA Training School Management School Dean Joint Conference and Conducted Research on Sister Schools

On November 21-23, 2024, Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of BNUBS, Hu Conghui, Associate Dean, Zhou Jianghua, Director of the MBA Center, Li Jing, Associate Director, and Wang Lulu, along with five others, attended the 2024 National MBA Training School Management Dean Joint Meeting and conducted research at the School of Economics and Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and the School of Management at Sun Yat sen University.

On November 21-22, the research team went to the School of Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and the School of Management at Sun Yat sen University for exchange. The research content included topics such as the cultivation of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral talents, the assessment and incentive mechanism of the teaching staff, and the internal governance system of the School. Especially in terms of talent cultivation, both sides had targeted exchanges on professional settings, training concepts, and recent reform measures.

On the afternoon of November 21st, Ai Chunrong, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Shen Rui, Assistant Dean (Research) and Doctoral Program Director, Gao Qianhe, Director of School Affairs, and Wang Jue, Executive Director of the Master of Management Program, warmly received the research team on behalf of the School.

On the morning of November 22nd, Qin Xin, Associate Dean of the School of Management at Sun Yat sen University, Liang Jianping, Director and Project Leader of Chen Ruiqiu Asia Pacific Case Development and Research Center, Academic Director of MBA Program, Yu Shuxin, Director of Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office, Li Zhiming, Associate Director of Professional Degree Office, and Yan Danhong, Personnel Secretary, warmly received the research team on behalf of the School.

This research activity provided a valuable opportunity for in-depth exchanges between universities, broadened work horizons, enhanced mutual understanding and friendship, and looked forward to exploring new ideas and paths for the development of business education together.

On November 23, 2024, the joint meeting of the deans of the School of Management of MBA training schools in China was successfully held in Guangzhou. This conference is hosted by the National Guidance Committee for Graduate Education in Business Administration and the Chinese Association for Academic Degrees and Graduate Education, and organized by the School of Management at Sun Yat sen University. More than 600 school leaders and MBA education supervisors from over 240 universities across the country attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Wang Liang, an investigator of the Training Quality Division of the Degree Management and Graduate Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Yang Bin, member and secretary-general of the National MBA Education Instruction Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Tsinghua University, Qi Yanwei, Associate Director of the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Lu Xiongwen, Associate director of the National MBA Education Instruction Committee and president of the School of Management of Fudan University, Xie Xiaoyun, member of the National MBA Education Instruction Committee and president of the School of Management of Zhejiang University, Si Zefu, member of the National MBA Education Instruction Committee and former chairman of Harbin Electric Group Co., Ltd., Zhang Chuanwei, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Mingyang Group, honorary president of Sun Yat sen University, and other keynote speakers focused on the high-quality development of MBA professional degree graduate education, MBA education mission and exploration of innovation and reform, MBA education reform to help the process of Chinese path to modernization and other topics made speeches at the conference. Our attendees had a thorough exchange with MBA education supervisors from sister universities on the high-quality development of MBA education, and jointly explored the innovative transformation and composite talent cultivation that MBA education can empower the industry.
