Our School Held the 2025 Feng Lu - Daojie Innovation and Practice Scholarship Evaluation Meeting

On June 19, 2025,BNUBS held the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year Feng Lu - Daojie Innovation and Practice Scholarship Evaluation Meeting in Conference Room 1610 of the Houzhu Building. Alumni donor Feng Lu, Professor Zhou Jianghua, Assistant Dean of the School and Director of the MBA Education Center, full - time counselor Wang Jun, alumni work supervisor Li Ani, and teachers related to student work participated in this evaluation meeting.

The "Feng Lu - Daojie Innovation and Practice Scholarship" was established with funds from Feng Lu, an alumnus of the 1996 class of our School. It aims to encourage outstanding students to be actively innovative, bravely participate in practice, and grow into all - round developed, comprehensive quality - excellent college students with the "Four Haves" qualities. This is the first evaluation since its establishment. After personal application, material review and public notice, a total of 7 students were shortlisted for the defense evaluation of this year's Feng Lu - Daojie Innovation and Practice Scholarship.

First of all, alumnus Feng Lu gave a speech. He expounded his support for the students of BNUBS in terms of entrepreneurial practice, and combined with his own entrepreneurial journey, put forward systematic suggestions on the construction of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem. He said that taking the establishment of this scholarship as an opportunity, we should guide the students of BNUBS to transform academic wisdom into practical motivation and cultivate innovative thinking in entrepreneurial trials.

Subsequently, the participating students introduced the various practical activities they participated in, such as innovation and entrepreneurship, social research, and volunteer practice, and expounded their experiences and insights in the process of innovation and practice. Alumnus Feng Lu and the evaluation teachers had in - depth exchanges with the participating students on the topic selection, method application, and result transformation.

Finally, Wang Jun made a concluding speech. He expressed sincere thanks to alumnus Feng Lu for his feelings of always caring about the development of the School and the students of BNUBS. He also earnestly encouraged all students to keep in mind the earnest teachings of the alumnus, base themselves on the major strategic needs of the country, closely follow the pulse of economic and social development, and carry out innovative practices that take root in China and serve the national economy and people's livelihood.

After the comprehensive evaluation of the evaluation working group, Mao Sufeng, Hu Yi, and Zhang Ger yuan won the first, second, and third prizes of the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year Feng Lu - Daojie Innovation and Practice Scholarship respectively.

The evaluation of the Feng Lu - Daojie series of scholarships adheres to the principle of selecting the best from the best and not awarding for the sake of awarding. It gives full play to the incentive and guiding role of the scholarships, and also shows the excellent qualities of the students in our School, such as being diligent in learning, striving for excellence in scientific research, being brave in innovation, being enthusiastic about practice, and being self - reliant. It is a full embodiment of the achievements in undergraduate training in our School. In the future, the School will continue to focus on the goal of innovation and practice, inject lasting impetus into cultivating newcomers of the times who are responsible for national rejuvenation, and help more students shine in the journey of serving the national strategy.
