In the winter holiday, organized by BNUBS, students formed four groups and visited the United States, Russia and Taiwan. In their study tour, they visited famous universities and carry out meaningful activities, which may help broaden their horizon and improve their abilities.

The first group went to the cities of New York, Boston and New Haven for exchange and communication from January 16 to January 25, 2017. The purpose of this event is to provide students with opportunities to broaden their horizon and experience foreign teaching methods. It is also a beneficial exploration for Sun Education Fund, BNUBS and students to raise funds together.

Led by Li Jingya, a teacher from BNUBS, the second group students completed the three-week study tour program to the United States. The program, which is a scholarship program with The University of California, Northridge, is to provide students interested in business with the opportunities to know more about international business. In the visit, they feel the atmosphere of courses taught in English and learn the importance of expressing themselves bravely.

Invited by Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, the third group of student representatives went to Russia to participate in the “2017 International Business Week” with the theme of international strategy management. They not only carry out the business case discussiones, team reports, but also visit the university, RusHydro Company and CTC Media Company. Highly praised by the participants from other universities, BNUBS students obtain professional skills, as well as fun and friendship.

On February 12, 2017, the fourth group formed by twelve students and one teacher went to Tunghai University in Taiwan to participate in the seven-day winter camp with 18 students and teachers from Zhejiang University. In the winter camp, Tunghai University organizes courses of Architectural aesthetics and Dining Aesthetics and visits to the university, opera house, etc. The two parties both expect further cooperation and BNU welcomes students from Tunghai University to visit BNU.

In all these activities, students improve themselves and lay solid foundation for their further development.
