Aalborg University and Sino-Danish Centre Visited BNU Business School

On the afternoon of December 8, 2016, Professor Dmitrij Slepniov, Director of the Innovation Management Program in Sino-Danish Centre for Education and Research (SDC), Thorsten Budde Haensel, Vice President of the Confucius Institute for Innovation Learning at Aalborg University and Professor Wang Yiying, Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute visited BNUBS. Lai Desheng, Dean of BNUBS, Cai Hongbo, Assistant Dean, and Xie Jia, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation attended the meeting.

Dean Lai Desheng welcomed the guests’ visit and introduced the basic situation of BNUBS, especially the BNUBS’s international work in teachers, students and international scientific research platform and so on. Introducing Aalborg University and its Confucius Institute, and the teaching and research work of SDC respectively, Vice President Thorsten and Director Dmitrij expressed the expectation to conduct various exchanges and cooperation with BNUBS. The two sides exchanged views on scientific research cooperation in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as MBA innovation management talents training based on the platform of SDC.

Founded in 1974, Aalborg University of Denmark is the youngest one of the five universities in Denmark. In the past few years, the university has developed very rapidly and its level of education and research is in the leading position in the fields of engineering, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. Witnessed by leaders of the two countries, SDC was established in Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2010 with the aim to combine the most advantageous research resources and educational traditions of China and Denmark, promote the exchange between students, teachers and scientific and technological personnel and strengthen contacts between education and scientific research institutions and business circles in the two countries.
