Gao Yingmai's Lecture on "Analysis of the Development Trends and Policies of the Digital Economy in the 15th Five Year Plan" Was Successfully Held

On the evening of October 27, 2024, the 35th lecture of the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS, titled "Analysis of the Development Trends and Policies of the Digital Economy in the 15th Five Year Plan", was held in the lecture hall of the Electronic Building.This lecture specially invited Gao Yingmai, Associate Director of the Institute of Information Technology and Software Industry at China Electronics Information Industry Development Research Institute (CCID Research Institute), to give a lecture. Zhou Jianghua, Director of the MBA Education Center at BNUBS, presided over the lecture. Li Jing, Associate Director of the MBA Education Center, and more than 150 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from the school attended the lecture.

Director Gao first introduced the political background of the Party Central Committee, with comrades Xi Jinping as the core, attaching great importance to the development of the digital economy. She elaborated on the continuous evolution of the connotation of the digital economy from the perspectives of theory, planning, and practice, pointing out that the digital economy is a new economic form formed under the conditions of the progress of the new generation of information technology (digital technology), and analyzed the relationship between the digital economy and new quality productivity from the perspectives of factors, industries, and production relations. Subsequently, she used artificial intelligence and enterprise digital transformation as case studies to explain the global development trend of the digital economy, demonstrating that the digital economy has become a new economic growth point on a global scale. She pointed out the current situation, opportunities, and challenges facing the development of China's digital economy, emphasizing several advantages in terms of systems, data resources, application scenarios, and talent reserves. Finally, she sorted out the development context of China's digital economy era and conducted research on the key directions of the digital economy based on policies.

The students present expressed that they had gained a lot, and the lecture provided inspiration and reflection for students to deeply understand the development situation of the digital economy in the 15th Five Year Plan period. It aims to interpret the connotations and laws of this surging tide and lead deeper thinking and practical promotion of China's economic development and enterprise reform and innovation in the new economic era.
