From June the 16^th to the 17^th of 2016, the 6^th BNUBS-CERSHAS International Symposium mutually organized by BNU Business School and the Center for Economic and Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Scienceswas held in Budapest. Lead by professor Li Shi, BNU Business School teachers Cui Xuegang, Luo Chuliang, XuJianwei, Jiang Jie and Chen Jidong attended this event.

On the opening ceremony, Mr. Karoly Fazekas, General Director of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences welcomed all Chinese scholars; reviewed the development process and fruitful results of both parties with Prof. Li Shi; both sharing their opinions on Economics and China’s economic development.

Both parties discussed 15 papers in the two-day International Symposium, contents included Labor Economics, Education Economics, International Economics and Corporate Finance, etc. Scholars thoroughly communicated through various forms such as academic presentations, commenting on each other’s research papers and free discussion. The performance of BNU Business School teachers was highly praised by the Hungarian scholars.

 

 
 

The BNUBS-CERSHASInternational Symposium is a routine event organized to promote the academic communication of both organizations. It has significance importance to the promotion of BNU Business School’s internationalization and international influence. This year’s meeting was meticulously organized by Prof. Maria Csanadi of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. During this symposium, both parties set new intentions of further cooperation and communication. BNU Business School Dean Prof. Lai Desheng gave the Hungarian cooperative partners two latest reports on the Chinese Labor Market, which was brought to Hungary by the visiting team. The reports well highly praised by the Hungarian scholars.
