South Australia University President Visiting BNU Business School

On April the 11th, Prof. David Lloyd, President & Vice Chancellor of the University of South Australia and Nigel Relph, its Vice President & Deputy Vice Chancellor visited Beijing Normal University Business School. They were warmly greeted by BNU faculty, including: Xiao Kai, the Deputy Director of the BNU International Exchange and Cooperation Office & the Director of the Confucius Institute; BNU Business School Dean Lai Desheng, Associate Dean Cui Xuegang, Prof. Yang Chengyu and Associate Professor Qian Jing.

 

This is Prof. Lloyd’s first visit to BNU Business School, Dean Lai Desheng welcomed him warmly and invited Prof. Yang to give a general introduction of BNU Business School. This is South Australia University’s third visit to BNU Business School since this March, the main purpose of this meeting is to discuss the construction of a Business Confucius Institute in South Australia University, also to further implement mutual cooperation between both parties in aspects such as teaching and scientific research; including student and teacher exchange, a dual-degree program for undergraduates, master’s programs teacher and student communication, scientific research, collaborative academic meetings, also to establish a collaborative research center for innovation and entrepreneurship.

 

BNU Business School has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the University of South Australia. Since 2012, three BNU undergraduate students have entered the exchange program to study in South Australia University.
