Visit from the School of Business Administration at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

On the afternoon of January the 6th, a visiting group from the School of Business Administration at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem arrived at BNU Business School. Including their Business School Dean Prof. YishayYafeh, Strategy Department Director Prof. NironHashai and Innovation Program Director Mr. ItayFriedjung. Mr. Michal Schwartz from the Israeli Embassy Culture Office also joined them in this visit. BNU International Office Deputy Director Chen Juan, BNU Business School Dean Lai Desheng, Associate Dean Cui Xuegang, Assistant to the Dean Cai Hongbo and other teachers (XieJia, Huang Liangjin, Li Jingya) attended this meeting.

 

Dean Lai Desheng and Deputy Director Chen Juan welcomed all guests and generally reviewed cooperation between two universities since 2014. Mr. CaiHongbo then generally introduced BNU Business School and our current internationalization progress. Afterwards, Prof. Hashai introduced the School of Business Administration at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, focusing on their international programs. Both parties thoroughly communicated on aspects such as teacher/student visit, training teachers in innovation and entrepreneurship, summer school, overseas study tours, MBA program cooperation and a 3+1 cooperative undergraduate degree program; reaching a preliminary cooperation agreement.

 


In consideration of Prof. Yafeh’s outstanding personal academic contributions and rich management experiences, Dean Lai Desheng invited him to become BNU Business School’s International Advisory Committee Member. Prof. Yafeh gladly accepted this invitation and expressed that he is delighted to contribute to the development of BNU Business School. The establishment of the BNU Business School International Advisory Committee is an important step to the internationalization process of our school, this committee will directly serve our school’s international accreditation.
