On the evening of March 10, 2024, the 28th lecture Digital Transformation and Organizational Restructuring - Essence and Best Practices was held in Room 108 on the second floor of the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS. Mao Jiye, Academic Dean of the School of Entrepreneurship and Management, Shanghai University of Science and Technology, was invited to give the lecture. Dean Qi Yudong, Li Hui, Li Yuxiao, Zheng Feihu, Zhao Xiangyang, Li Jing, Li Lun and more than 200 students were present to listen. The lecture was hosted by Professor Zhou Jianghua, Director of MBA Education Center.

Professor Mao Jiye is the academic Dean of the School of Entrepreneurship and Management of Shanghai University of Science and Technology, former Dean of the Business School of Renmin University of China, special Professor of "Outstanding Scholar", special Professor of "Changjiang Scholar" of the Ministry of Education, winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project, member of the seventh and eighth Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education, and former chairman of the China Branch of the International Society for Information Systems.

First, the professor gave the most concise and practical definition of digital transformation, using emerging digital technologies to restructure business and organizations, so that students clearly grasp the nature of digital transformation. Subsequently, he shared two practical cases of Sany Heavy Industry and AU (Suzhou), which he personally researched, and analyzed how enterprises deeply implemented digital transformation. The detailed and interesting content stimulated the teachers and students to think and discuss.

At the end of the lecture, the professor interacted with the students and patiently answered the questions raised by many students.

Introduction to the Lecture Series “Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall”

BNUBS adheres to the mission of “Promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world by creating knowledge and developing talents" and continues to pay attention to the development and practice of digital economy and management. Since September 2020, the “Digital Economy and Management Frontier Lecture Series” has been held 21 lectures. From May 2023, the lecture series has been officially upgraded to “Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall”, showing the current development picture of digital economy and management from the perspectives of economy, management, culture, technology and change, trying to interpret the connotation and law of this surging forward tide. To lead the deeper thinking and practice of China's economic development and enterprise change and innovation in the new economic era.

From March to June 2024,“Digital Economy and Management Frontier Lecture Series” successively invited 6 heavyweight experts to share lectures, welcome to attend.
