A Delegation from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) Visited the Education Standards Research Center of Our School

From April 17th to 18th, 2025, the "Beijing Normal University International Family Business Inheritance Comparison Workshop and Academic Exchange Conference on Russian Family Business Inheritance Practices" jointly hosted by the Education Service Standards and Certification Research Center of BNUBS, the International Office, and the Education Standards Professional Committee of the China Education Development Strategy Society, and organized by the Beijing Normal University International Production Capacity Cooperation and Innovation Research Center, kicked off in Room 1632 of the School. The visiting guests were from the "Family Business Governance Project" delegation of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), with a total of 7 members. Associate Professor Zheng Feihu from the Department of International Economics and Trade of the school and Director of the Education Service Standards and Certification Research Center, along with Ms. Wang Dan from the International Office, received the family business entrepreneurs led by Mr. Mikhail from MSU.

On the morning of the 17th, Mr. Zheng Feihu extended a warm welcome to the guests. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as the education system for family business inheritance, curriculum design, and joint training programs. Subsequently, the delegation visited the campus of Beijing Normal University to experience the historical heritage and modern vitality of this century-old institution.

On the afternoon of the 17th, Mr. Li Ruiguo, a think tank expert at the International Production Capacity Cooperation and Innovation Research Center and the co-founder of Beijing Maxis Management Consulting Company, gave a lecture and sharing session with the theme of "Sun Tzu's Military Thought and Chinese Business Strategies". Combining the wisdom of traditional Chinese culture with contemporary enterprise innovation cases, he deeply analyzed the strategic thinking of Chinese family businesses. After the lecture, the delegation had an amiable exchange with Russian students studying at our university about the challenges and opportunities of cross-cultural learning.

Dialogue and communication with international students

On the morning of the 18th, the delegation visited the Internet Education Innovation Center in Zhongguancun to explore the education technology incubator, getting a close look at the latest innovative practices in the field of digital education in China. They were warmly welcomed by Wang Xibei, the assistant president and director of the marketing department of the Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center. The Russian entrepreneur guests personally tried out product technologies such as virtual simulation and digital twins in the technology incubator and had in-depth conversations with the heads of three small but promising start-up teams.

On the afternoon of the 18th, Professor Pei Rong, a think tank expert at the International Production Capacity Cooperation and Innovation Research Center, a professor at the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, the founding director of the Sino-Foreign Family Business Joint Research Center, and a senior member of the International Family Enterprise Society, was invited to give a lecture and sharing session with the theme of "The Development and Governance of Family Businesses". By referring to family business cases from their respective countries, the two sides explored the development direction of family businesses in the context of globalization and the impact of fertility policies on the development of family businesses. After the meeting, the delegation visited the school history museum of Beijing Normal University to gain a deeper understanding of the School's historical evolution and educational philosophy.

This event not only built an academic exchange platform for scholars from Beijing Normal University and MSU but also enhanced the understanding of each other's cultures through the ideological interaction in the international workshop. Both sides expressed their anticipation for more opportunities in the future, such as academic visits and joint research, to further promote academic talent cultivation and the sharing of innovative resources. Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), founded in 1755, is the largest and oldest comprehensive research university in Russia. It has nurtured 13 Nobel laureates and many internationally renowned scholars.



Chinese and international students from the WEC project, DID project, and Lihong Program of BNUBS actively participated in the volunteer activities of this international workshop.
