Linneaus University visited our school

On October 7th, 2013, Linneaus University business school’s Prof. Mosad Zineldin visited our school. Yang Chengyu, the Deputy dean, met Prof. Zineldin, they discussed about teachers exchange visits and students’ exchange programs that they are interested in. Prof. Zineldin was interested in the long-term and stability scientific research cooperation with our schools’ teacher, and showed that he would actively apply for funding support from the EU to promote the cooperation program.

Linneaus University(Swedish:Linnéuniversitetet) is located in Kalmar in Sweden, it’s a Swedish public university, formerly known as Kalmar University. Linneaus University founded in January 1st in 2010, is a merger of former Kalmar University and Växjö University. This university is authorized to award Doctorate in science. Linneaus University has five department, that is, Business School, Human Sciences School, Health and Life Science School, Engineering School, Arts and Humanities School. In addition, it has Kalmar Marine Institute which is a member of the Engineering School and Design School which is a member of the Arts and Humanities School. Linneaus University offers undergraduate and graduate courses, it has a wide professional fields, such as science, technology, social science, health and business research. At present, Linneaus University offers a wide range of academic and vocational subjects of 150 degree majors, as well as 150 independent courses. More than 40 majors and more than 500 independent courses are taught in English.
