殷晓鹏，现任对外经贸大学国际经贸学院国际贸易系主任、副教授、博导，兼任国际经济与金融学会（中国）（IEFS China）的执行秘书兼财务，及华盛顿大学-对外经贸大学国际经济联合研究中心（UW——UIBERCIE）的执行副主任。2001年毕业于加拿大麦吉尔（McGill）大学，获经济学博士学位。曾先后在加拿大康科迪亚（Concordia）大学，温莎（Windsor）大学任教。目前主要从事外商直接投资与外包、区域经济联合与贸易协定、贸易、资本流动与经济增长、内生经济增长、开放宏观经济等领域的研究和教学工作。
论文摘要：
We define the complete economic integration as the co-existence of the increasing “two-way” Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and free trade. That is, when the northern multinational firms move their manufacturing part to the South, and the southern firms also set up to their research labs in the North as well to obtain the complete intellectual properties. This is emerging in China drastically in recent years and is the “two-way FDI” we called. By adopting the modified North-South product cycle model of Grossman and Helpman (1991a) and adding this “two-way” FDI to be complete economic integration, we arrive at the opposite conclusion with that of both Krugman (1979) and Grossman and Helpman (1991b) as long as we adopt the same oligopolistic framework. It shows that the relative wage rate between the northern firm and the southern firm will not be affected by regime effects, which focus on the related market sizes of the North to South. Moreover, the paper also examines the effect of size of both labour markets and relevant policy impacts in the proposed open economy.
