“Classical Truth Sports Championship” – The Fourth Beijing MBA Alliance “最美我羽动” Badminton Competition and the 2014 Beijing Normal University MBA Culture Season Opening Ceremony was held on May 17th in Jingshi Hall of Beijing Normal University. Sports team leaders, faculty members and participants from 29 Beijing business schools participated in this event.
Firstly, Lai Desheng, the Dean of Beijing Normal University Business School welcomed and thanked everyone for coming.
To inherit the MBA traditions and culture of Beijing Normal University, this year’s Cultural Season was organized basing on the success of “2012 Beijing Normal University MBA Cultural Season”. As the biennial Beijing Normal University MBA cultural feast, this year’s Cultural Season mainly includes academic activities, teacher respecting activities, cultural activities, sports activities, cultural vising activities and social practice base construction activities. There will also be other interesting events such as the Beijing Normal University MBA on campus promotion week, national MBA programs communication, calligraphy appreciating, photography contest, health promotion and charity activities. The badminton competition is the starting point of this year’s Cultural Season; Dean Lai Desheng also invited guests to participate in the Beijing Normal University MBA Leaders Forum which will be organized in September.
520 people from 29 institutions participated in this year’s badminton competition, including sports team leaders, coaches, faculty group team members, student group team members and volunteers; 80 people constituted the committee of judges, the arbitration committee and the competition organizing committee. This year’s competition broke the record of participating institutions and participants. Dean Lai Desheng emphasized that as the host, Beijing Normal University will provide excellent logistics services, making full use of this opportunity to show the charm of sports to teachers and students of all business schools and establish a healthy image.
