He is the author of the book “Capital in the Twenty-First Century”, which is the most important economic book in the year of 2014. He is famous for his creative work about wealth distribution and inequality problem. In 2013, European Economic Association rewarded him with the Yrjö Jahnsson Award.

 

Fransois Bourguignon, former vice president of the World Bank. He has been the director of the Paris School of Economics. His research interests are income distribution, tax, etc.
