【主讲人简介】

John T. Addison was educated at the London School of Economics where he obtained his B.Sc. (Econ), M.Sc. and Ph. D degrees. Addison is Research Professor in Economics at the University of South Carolina (U.S.A.), and Professor of Economics at the University of Durham (U.K.). He is concurrently a research fellow at the Center for Labor and Employment Law at New York University, the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg, and the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn. He has been a member of the Kuratorium (Board of Trustees) of the Institute for Labor Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union (IAAEU) at the University of Trier since 2006. He has published widely in the major economics and specialty labor journals, including the Journal of Business, Review of Economics & Statistics, American Economic Review, Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Labor Economics, Economic Journal, Labour Economics, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, and Industrial Relations-Berkeley. His research interests include the impact of collective bargaining and worker representation, high dimensional fixed effects models of wage variation, minimum wages, and gender and pay.
