摘要：
We study the impact of government bond purchases by banks on their loan supply to firms over the post sovereign debt crisis period (2012-2014) using a sample of 105 Italian co-operative banks lending to 2,200 _firms operating in Italy. Our results show that acquired a larger amount of government bonds reduced relatively more their supply of both lines of credit and long-term loans.

Alberto Pozzolo教授现为意大利莫里泽大学经济系教授。曾供职于意大利中央银行，并担任意大利财政部顾问。Pozzolo教授的主要研究方向为银行在金融体系中的作用，研究成果发表于Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of International Economics, European Economic Review, Journal of Banking and Finance等国际一流学术刊物。
