主讲人：Professor Barkley Rosser
J. Barkley Rosser, Jr. is Professor of Economics and Kirby L. Cramer, Jr. Professor of Business Administration at James Madison University in the USA. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has published over 150 books, articles, chapters, and book reviews. He is known for work in nonlinear economic dynamics, including applications in economics of catastrophe theory, chaos theory, and complexity theory. Some of his books are “From Catastrophe to Chaos: A General Theory of Economic Discontinuities”, 1991, Kluwer (2nd edition, 2000), “Comparative Economics in a Transforming World Economy”, 1996, Irwin (2nd edition, 2004, MIT Press), “Handbook of Complexity Research”, 2009, Edward Elgar, and “European Economics at a Crossroads”, Edward Elgar, 2010. He is Co-Editor of the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, having served as Editor, 2001-2010.
