About the Conference:
The conference is jointly organised by UWA Business School, the University of Western Australia and the Chinese Economics Society Australia (CESA). It is also the 29th Annual Meeting of the Society – CESA2017.

Topics:
The organiser invites all papers addressing the following topics about the Chinese economy such as economic reforms and ‘new normal’ growth, international trade, agricultural economy, resource sector and sustainable development, macroeconomics and microeconomics and China and the world economy. In addition, conference participants are most welcome to organise special sessions at the conference.

Invited Speakers:
A small group of distinguished local, national and international scholars/speakers will be invited to attend the conference and make presentations. Their main research interests centre around the Chinese economy and business.

Who Should Attend:
The conference is open to all scholars, policy makers and business advisers who are interested in the Chinese economy.

March 1 Abstracts of papers due
March 15 Letters of acceptance of conference papers posted
April 31 Last day for registration with early bird discount
May 26 Last date for conference registration
June 9 Full papers due

Conference Proceedings:
Conference papers will be considered for publication in three special issues/sections byChina Economic ReviewAsian Development Review and Energy Policy. The selection of papers will follow a standard double-blind refereeing process.
