Lecturer’s Introduction

Professor Tor Eriksson received his PhD in Economics from ÅboAkademi University (Finland) in 1986. He has been employed as professor of Economicsat Aarhus University (formerlyat Aarhus School of Business) since 1994. He has had several visiting appointments (Stockholm, Stanford, Lyon, Paris, Tokyo and atseveral Chinese universities). He has served on the executive committee and elections committee of the European Association of Labour Economists and is an executive member of the CAED.

Professor Eriksson’s main research and teaching areas are labor economics, in particular personnel economics and intergenerational mobility, determinants of corporate performance and health economics. He has also done some research and teaches about the Chinese economy. His recent publications have been published in Journal of Labor Economics, Chine Economic Review, Economics and Human Biology, Journal Economic Behavior & Organizations, Economic Journal and Labour Economics.
